Accessing the mystical through your birth chart
Join us at Aberdeen Community Garden for an evening of ritual, reflection, and rustling around in your birth chart (and the leaves) to excavate methods for connecting with the mystical. We’ll discuss deepening ancestral ties, how you create sacred space, transforming inner shadow as to usher in more light and meaningfully integrating the subconscious into your everyday life.
On the eve of witch’s new year and at the threshold of the cemetery, we couldn’t imagine a more inviting time or space to dive deeper into such topics.
Admission is sliding scale: $15-$45 (cash preferred day of event).
For best results, we highly recommend this workshop to folks who have access to their accurate birth information. Space is limited so please register intentionally! We can’t wait to convene with you.
Art Your Chart: Astro-Art Cafe
Join us at Flowercat NYC to say a sweet so long Leo season and welcome in the tides of Virgo’s precision as we bridge the two energies for a night of creative reflection. Using materials corresponding to the specific astrological energies that make up each of us, come craft a personalized wheel expressing the unique features of your birth chart. Lavender sprigs for Gemini, water colors for the 4th House, charcoal for the solar folk: the specificity is endless and also completely customizable to your interpretation of how each piece resonates for you!
We’ll provide materials, space, and all the astrological knowledge we have. Feel free to bring along whatever additional supplies you feel called to (stickers, magazines, your favorite markers, etc.) and don’t forget either your birth info (time,date,location) or access to your birth chart! We recommend for the sake of this project, generating a Whole Sign version of your chart. You can do that here!
Drinks and snacks will be available to purchase and @zabbygmusic will be blessing our ears with live music throughout the night.

The Luminaries: Harnessing & Honoring The Sun and Moon
Join us at Aberdeen Garden’s Summer Solstice Festival!! Soak up the light of the longest day of the year as we deep dive into our glorious sky-bound guides, the Sun and Moon. Part lecture and part intentional crafting, you’ll leave with a talismanic creation honoring your chart's personal Sun and Moon! + Come by a little earlier or stay later for some incredible programming and live music organized by Aberdeen Street Community Garden.

Please join Funkoven on the Winter Solstice for an evening of nourishment, reverence and rumination.
We’re potlucking! We’re altar building! We’re shedding and welcoming! We’re continuing to expand our wonderful, magical, careful community! We’re really hoping you’ll be there!!!
Between now and then, if you have a moment to convene with nature and find a stone, leaf, pinecone, twig, etc. that calls to you, answer the call and please bring them along to be used on our shared altar space. Three would be ideal, but one is just fine.
We welcome/encourage/need song and can provide a keyboard and guitar if you feel moved to offer your voice to the gathering in that way.
RSVP by December 13th so we can account for space and time.
